A delicious pink grapefruit this morning. Combined with the first warm sunny spring afternoon we've had in 2012 I'm beginning to think about making Martha Rose Schulman's grapefruit eis and maybe a granita - soon- once I've swept and rinsed the balconies off so we can throw pillows down to sit on. There's levity in knowing we can be certain that summer's on its way.
