A pair of moccasins that were in sore shape (last pic)... found at the thrift shop in town. It's a diamond mine!

I removed the worn brown rabbit fur and inserts, stitched a new pair of red melton cloth inserts, added grey rabbit fur and secured a couple of loose beads. These were made by a total pro - the beading is incredible to have survived this kind of wear.

They're a present for a friend ...mailed off today.
