Borscht - Barszcz (with Roasted Beets)







for Saturday night.

Anne roasted these globed wonders, brought them over and we assembled the soup here (added onions, garlic, herbs, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and stock).

What a difference the roasting makes to the flavour and texture! Really gorgeous. Thanks, Anne. When time permits this is my method from here on in.
