September Suppers
Carrot soup with fresh arugula, crunchy and tingly radishes, tender yellow & green beans, raw and steamed, respectively, with a few shakes of sea salt and fresh black pepper ... all pictured here in the prettiest yellow crockery belonging to Rebecca and David (Horace and Roma's people).

And thank you too for the use of your copy of Larousse Gastronimique by Prosper Montagné. Originally published in 1938, this hefty number contains all the gory details on French cooking.
It's everything I wanted to read for two weeks ...and hence the vegetal suppers.
