I'm getting the 23 little Beatrix Potter books together for the baby and The Story of Miss Moppet is yet to be included. S. reminded me of Miss M. again. She's catsitting a little wide-eyed cranker who looks much her.

These poppies in my neighbor's flower beds are just so resplendent i'm compelled to post photos of them pretty much every summer. They're more or less finished blooming now, given the rain we had this week, but i was lucky to catch them when they were in their prime.
