Doc Watson : March 3, 1923 - May 29, 2012
"My father made me a banjo using the skin of an old dead cat. He brought it to me and put it in my hands, and said, 'Son, I want you to learn to play this thing real well. One of these days we'll get you a better one,' he said. 'Might help you get through the world,' "
- Doc Watson
May he rest In peace.

Many things are happening here in Montréal. People are coming together to resist bill 78 as well as the police brutality that has become rampant since students started striking 102 days ago. Over 250,000 of us marched on May 22, and more are resisting every evening with cacerolazo from 8 - 8:15pm in boroughs north of downtown. I always feel very thankful that this is the province and city I live in and I especially feel it now. Vivre la résistance!

“I want to be good.”
“Why?”
“I want to be what I admire.”
“Why don’t you want to be what you are?”
The desire for reassurance, and equally, to be reassured.... quelle connerie.
